The Spoken Worlds programme continues at the Centre d’Art Contemporain de Genève, with the help of Fabienne Radi and Emmanuelle Pireyre, both authors and teachers, who run the two writing workshops at HEAD – Genève. Les Spoken Worlds invites you to immerse yourself in the many and varied ways in which reading is practised and, thanks to a community of voices, to map out invigorating paths of thought.

Florence Minder will be giving her performance Saison 1 Épisode 01, Ce que le monde attend de vous, c’est une histoire, featuring a group of Swiss tourists in the equatorial forest, a heroine, suspense, kidnappings, violence and digressions. After the performance, we’ll have a chat with her about the many facets of her work as a writer, actor and director, both solo and with others.

Florence Minder is a Brussels-based Swiss author, performer and director. Her stage writing is radically focused on interaction with her audience. The resulting works – Good Mourning!, Vostbil, Calendrier de l’Avent, the koehlerminder manifest – are set in the specific contexts in which they are performed. With Saison 1, Épisode 01, she seizes on the omnipresence of narrative in society, from storytelling to TV series, and the stories we tell ourselves, to turn them into the material for her performance.
