Falta Tropical is the second instalment of the exhibition of Maya Rochat – artist-in-residence – made in collaboration with Sarah Burger. On this occasion, they will propose a “plastic plan towards the spatial installation”: Exchange, superpositions, break with the origin. This project consists of an installation at the Project Space and two films, by each artist at the Cinema Dynamo.

Maya Rochat (1985) is a multidisciplinary artist, who works in the fields of photography, collage, video and installation. Her work has been shown, among others, at Fotomuseum Winterthur; Fotohof Salzburg; Centre pour la photographie, Genève; Journées photographiques de Bienne; F-Stop.

Sarah Burger (b. 1982) lives and works between Berlin and Zurich. She studied philosophy and fine arts. Her multidisciplinary practice explores the fields of installation, sculpture, photography and video. Her work is currently being shown at the Aargauer Kunsthaus.
