Spoken Worlds – Louise Bentkowski

Spoken Worlds

Louise Bentkowski

The Spoken Worlds program continues with a reading and presentation by Louise Bentkowski of her first novel Constellucination, published in 2024 by Verdier (winner of the Inrockuptibles first novel prize). Constellucination is presented as a hallucinatory genealogical investigation in which the author seeks to expand her kinship through writing itself.

Louise Bentkowski is an author and director based in Pantin. Born in 1988, she studied at HEAR in Strasbourg, at La Manufacture in Lausanne and in the Master’s program in literary creation at Paris 8. She first worked in theater for ten years, between Paris, Strasbourg and Geneva. Since 2019, she has been experimenting with hybrid writing styles, ranging from novels to poetry, exploring fragmentary forms that unfold through embedded narratives.

The Spoken Worlds program is organized with the complicity of Fabienne Radi and Emmanuelle Pireyre, both authors and teachers, in charge of the two writing workshops at HEAD – Geneva. The Spoken Worlds events invite us to immerse ourselves in the plural practices of reading and to draw, thanks to a community of voices, invigorating paths of thought.

This year’s events will be held on the HEAD – Geneva campus (Bâtiment E, Salle Georges Addor, Avenue de Chatelaine 5, 1203 Geneva).
