On May 13, the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève will be pleased to welcome the public until 11pm for the Nuit des Musées (Night at the Museum), this year around the exhibition Chrysalis: The Butterfly’s Dream.

On this occasion, various free activities and guided tours are offered to the public.

The Greatest Exquisite Corpse of the Night

In connection to the work of artist Guo Fengyi presented in the exhibition Chrysalis: The Butterfly’s Dream, take part in the collective creation of the largest exquisite corpse of the Nuit des Musées. You can contribute to this oversized collective writing and graphic game on the fourth floor of the Centre.

Creation of a calligram from memories

On the fourth floor of the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, the education team offers to interpret the current exhibition Chrysalis: The Butterfly’s Dream in the form of calligrams. Calligraphy and invented words mix and merge in this workshop to offer infinite possibilities of creations, with only one key word: metamorphosis!

Free guided tours of the exhibition “Chrysalis: The Butterfly’s Dream” – departures every hour

Guided tours with the Center’s mediator-guides are scheduled to start at the reception desk every hour from 6:00 p.m. and throughout the evening. The objective is to share keys to reading Chrysalis: The Butterfly’s Dream, a large-scale group exhibition devoted to the transformations that surround us, inhabit us and shape us.

Tours start on the ground floor at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 pm
