Goodbye, how are you?

The Cinema Dynamo is happy to present Goodbye, how are you? (2009), a satirical documentary fairy tale by the Serbian director Boris Mitić.

The wittiest, blackest satirical aphorisms of the modern era are saluted in this travelogue detailing how citizens use language to critique – and resist – the madness of politics. This film is an essay, made in the tradition of Chris Marker and Jean-Luc Godard, and a primer on Balkan intellectual thought, resistance, and history.

Boris Mitić (1977, Serbia), graduated in mass communication and worked as a professional journalist when he decided to buy a camera and film his first film Pretty Dyana (2003) on his own, using a home computer for production. He also writes satrical columns for Playboy and lectures at film schools in Europe, China, the US and the Middle East. His three films were shown in numerous festivals and were broadcasted worldwide.
